The long-awaited fourth and final entry in Highland Park's The Valhalla Collection. Odin (aka 'The Furious One'), is a rich and dark whisky with the distillery's trademark sweet and gently peaty character. Aged for 16 years in a combination of first-fill sherry casks and refill hogsheads, this is one not to miss.
 
"Lots of sherry influence on the nose with dried fruits and a little smoke peaking its head out. If you add a couple of drops of water which I suggest (much more isn't called for), sweet smoked meats come to mind, like bacon covered in maple syrup. The body of the whisky then shows a soft fruit-filled center. The finish is slightly bitter with spiced dusted walnuts. This would make a great nightcap."
