This blend of Bowmore and Highland Park combines whisky from Isle of Islay (Bowmore) with that of the most northern distillery in Scotland (Highland Park) which is located on the Isle of Orkney. Not much else to say really, except that it is produced by independent bottler Douglas Laing and Jim Murray describes this whiksy is “liquid gold” in his Whisky Bible 2012.

Aroma:
Bowmore characteristics in an aroma like Highland Park with fresh flowers and citrus flavor homemade cookie dough-like flavor well when combined.

Taste: 
flavor of sweetness and soft smoke and burnt cookie is well balanced feel. Features emerge from the distillery, both appear better in the double barrel.

Finish: 
long, soft, Bowmore and Highland Park felt as the flavor is found in both the island of soft tar and tidal pools.
