Dalmore in sherry casks is a familiar sight with official bottlings but rarely seen in independent bottlings. This whisky was initially matured in a refill bourbon hogshead and spent its final five and half months in a first-fill American oak Oloroso sherry octave. Needless to say. the sherry has awoken many intriguing flavours from Dalmore's fruit spirit style. Bottled at cask strength with natural colour.

TASTING NOTE
Nose : 
Jamaica cake, sticky dates, chocolate orange, and coffee grounds, then walnuts and pecans with cherry liqueur.

Palate : 
Clove, dark chocolate and chewy oak in the mouth.

Finish : 
Pipe tobacco and sweet leather linger on the finish..
